Automatically follow up with clients who requested a quote but didn't book — via email or SMS — with a configurable multi-step sequence and optional discount.

When a client requests a quote through your booking portal, DrivOQ automatically schedules a follow-up sequence to bring them back to book. The sequence is configurable: choose the number of steps, the delay between each step (in hours), the channel (email, SMS, or both), and whether to include a time-limited discount on the final step.

The follow-up system runs continuously and processes scheduled tasks in order, respecting your configured quiet hours so messages only go out during appropriate times. Each message includes a pre-fill link that brings the client back to your booking page with their original trip details already filled in — reducing friction to zero.

Unsubscribe links in every follow-up email are HMAC-signed to prevent tampering. When a client clicks unsubscribe, their record is updated immediately and all pending follow-up tasks are cancelled. Conversion tracking shows you exactly which step in your sequence is most effective at turning quotes into bookings.

Frequently asked questions

How many follow-up steps can I configure?

You can configure up to 3 follow-up steps, each with an independent delay in hours. A typical setup sends an immediate quote, a reminder after 24 hours, and a discount offer after 48 hours.

What happens when a client books after receiving a follow-up?

When a booking is created from a quote submission, all remaining follow-up tasks for that submission are automatically cancelled. The quote is marked as converted and the conversion is recorded in your follow-up stats.

Can clients opt out of follow-up messages?

Yes. Every follow-up email includes an unsubscribe link. The link is cryptographically signed (HMAC-SHA256) to prevent manipulation. Clicking it immediately stops all further follow-up for that quote and marks the submission as unsubscribed.
