Airport Fee Configuration for Limo and Car Service Companies
Set a flat fee for each airport you service, automatically added to every airport pickup booking at that location.
Airport fees are a standard part of limo pricing, but managing them manually is error-prone. DrivOQ's airport fee configuration lets you define a fee for each airport by name, automatically included in the total whenever an airport pickup booking is made at that location.
Each fee record stores the airport name, IATA code (optional), and the fee amount in your local currency. When the DrivOQ pricing engine calculates a quote or booking for an airport_pickup booking type, it looks up the applicable airport fee and adds it to the fare alongside the base rate, per-mile charge, and any active surge multiplier.
Airport fees are managed by owners and admins from the Settings area. The fee lookup is also available as an API endpoint used by the booking portal, so clients see the correct total inclusive of airport fees before they submit their booking.

Frequently asked questions
Does the airport fee apply to airport dropoffs as well?
No. The airport fee applies only to airport pickup booking types, where the driver is meeting a client at the airport. Airport dropoff bookings do not include the airport fee by design, as the cost structure typically differs.
What if an airport doesn't have a configured fee?
If no fee is configured for the airport in a booking, the pricing engine proceeds without an airport fee. The booking total reflects only the base fare, distance charges, and any applicable surge. You can add an airport fee at any time from Settings.
Can I set different fees for different airports?
Yes. Each airport has its own fee record. You can configure any fee amount per airport independently, so smaller regional airports and major international airports can have different fee structures.
