Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

DrivOQ ("we", "our", or "us") operates the DrivOQ platform available at drivoq.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our platform. By using DrivOQ, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a DrivOQ account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. Company owners and administrators provide this during onboarding.

Business Data

You provide information about your business operations including vehicle details, driver profiles, client contact information, booking records, and pricing configurations. This data belongs to you and is stored securely on our platform.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use DrivOQ, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform. This helps us improve the product.

Client and Passenger Data

When your clients use your DrivOQ-powered booking portal or receive notifications, we collect the information they provide: name, email, phone number, pickup and dropoff addresses, and booking preferences.

Location Data

With their consent, drivers share their location while active on the DrivOQ driver app. This data is used to enable dispatch, live tracking, and ride progress updates.

Payment Information

We do not store your payment card information. Billing is processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy and security certifications.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers required to operate the platform:

Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe stores payment card data under PCI DSS compliance.

Resend: Transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, invoices, follow-up sequences).

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the safety of users.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted database storage, row-level security to prevent cross-tenant data access, and access controls limiting who can access production systems. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We recommend using strong, unique passwords for your DrivOQ account.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer. Booking records may be retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes. You can request data deletion at any time by contacting us at support@drivoq.com.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@drivoq.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies and Tracking

DrivOQ uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication (keeping you logged in), security (preventing cross-site request forgery), and basic analytics (understanding which pages are visited). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in and use the platform.

8. Children's Privacy

DrivOQ is a business platform intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
